Pierce Turner iPad App

We're delighted to have designed and built a new iPad app 'Snow' for Irish musician Pierce Turner. It was a great experience to work with such a talented songwriter and we're really pleased with the resulting app. It explores one of Pierce's songs 'Snow' through video interviews (with his friend Eoin Colfer, author of the Artemis Fowl book series), music, photos and more. It's available now exclusively for iPad free from the App Store.

Career of the Week

Vermillion's Creative Director and MD, Anne Brady has recently been honoured by her inclusion in the book 'Women in Graphic Design, 1890–2012' published by Jovis. Anne is one of only 3 Irish designers included, along with Elizabeth Corbet Yeats (sister of W.B) and lecturer and writer Brenda Dermody. This great news was picked up by Silicon Republic and prompted them to use Graphic Designer as their 'career meme of the week' , with some very funny entries cropping up!

Preservation & Conservation

The latest Vermillion designed exhibition is up and running in the Long Room at Trinity College Library. The exhibition looks at the fascinating and varied activities of the Library’s Preservation and Conservation Department. Preservation & Conservation: What's That? runs until September, and is well worth a look - see the Trinity Library Website for further information.
